Tajmahal is the great Indian monument that attracts people from all over the world every year. It is located on the banks of river Yamuna in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. This is a masterpiece of Mughal architecture in India. It is located at a distance of less than 2.5 km from Agra Fort. It was made in the memory of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, in memory of his esteemed and beloved wife, Arjumand Bano (later known as Mumtaz Mahal). He was very beautiful and the king loved him so much. After his death, the king ordered his artists to build a grand tomb in his memory. It is one of the greatest and attractive monuments in the world, which is included in the seven wonders of the world.



This monument is a symbol of love and attachment to the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan's wife. This grand Mughal monument (also known as a majestic historical structure), which is situated in the heart of India. It is constructed with white marble and expensive stones, with very beautifully carving on the walls. It is believed that, the Taj Mahal was given to King Shah Jahan as a gift to his beloved dead wife, Mumtaz Mahal. He had called the best craftsmen in the world to build the Taj Mahal. It took a lot of money and time to get it ready. It is also believed that, he had refused more than a hundred designs and finally approved it. There are four attractive towers at the four corners of the Taj Mahal. They are made very beautifully and they are slightly tilted towards the outside so that they can secure the Taj Mahal building in any future natural calamity.



The marble used in the construction of the Taj Mahal is very expensive and was invented from outside the place in Agra by the king. There is a coordination of many artifacts in the structure of Taj Mahal, such as Indian, Pakistani, Islamic and Turks. It was incorporated in 1983 by UNESCO in the world's historical heritage. It has also gained worldwide fame in the form of seven wonders of the world. Last year, I went to see Agra Fort and Taj Mahal in Agra, especially with my dear parents. Then there was my winter vacation, I was very happy to see the historic beauty of India. My parents clearly tell about its history and truth. In fact, I saw its true beauty with my eyes and felt very proud of being Indian.
